The Delhi High Court on Wednesday granted interim safety from arrest to Newsclick editor-in-chief Prabir Purkayastha and information portal editor Pranjal on data obtained from the central authorities in a case registered by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police in August 2020. .
“Don’t arrest them till the next date of hearing,” Justice Yogesh Khanna advised the EOW after listening to the anticipatory bail pleas of Purkayastha and Pranjal.
