No change in Indian ladies’s T20 squad, BCCI publicizes 15-man squad for ACC T20 Championship

No main modifications had been made because the BCCI on Wednesday introduced a 15-member Indian ladies’s squad for the ACC T20 Championship to be held in Bangladesh from October 1 to fifteen.

India retained the identical workforce that performed within the three T20I sequence in opposition to England with Tania Bhatia and Simran Bahadur on standby.

Six-time champions India, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, will open their marketing campaign in opposition to Sri Lanka on day one, whereas they are going to tackle arch-rivals Pakistan on October 7.

“The All India Women’s Selection Committee has selected the Indian team for the upcoming ACC Women’s T20 Championship 2022 to be held in Sylhet, Bangladesh from October 1 to 15,” BCCI Secretary Jay Shah mentioned in a launch.

A complete of seven groups, together with hosts Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates, will compete in a round-robin format, with the highest 4 progressing to the semi-finals.

The semi-finals will likely be performed on 13 October and the ultimate will likely be performed on 15 October.

India had misplaced 1-2 to England in three T20Is.
