Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Nidhi Saxena stated that the lady’s mother and father lodged a police grievance on Monday following which an investigation was launched.
Saxena stated a case has been registered underneath part 376-AB of the Indian Penal Code (rape of a woman under 12 years of age) and related provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
