A forty five-year-old man died at a Bulandshahr medical facility after he was allegedly operated upon by authorities after he mistaken it for an additional affected person, district officers mentioned on Sunday. According to officers, Yusuf Saifi, a resident of Kiryawali village in Bulandshahr, was admitted to Sudhir Nursing Home late on Wednesday evening with signs of dengue like excessive fever and low platelet depend. Saifi’s household staged protests within the district on Thursday and Friday, alleging that the incident was an try and steal organs.

Though the case has been registered beneath sections of the Human Organ and Tissue Transplantation Act, 1994, the district authorities denied the allegations. “So far there is no evidence of any action related to organ harvesting,” Kumar mentioned.

“As per the postmortem report, the gall bladder of the victim was missing. The family had alleged that a limb was amputated. More clarity will be obtained once further investigation is done,” mentioned Shashank Singh, ASP Bulandshahr
