Actor Parvati on Thursday reprimanded the jury of the ONV Literary Award for ignoring Meitu’s allegations towards Tamil lyricist and poet Vairamuthu and awarded a prestigious award instituted within the reminiscence of the good poet ONV Kurup.
He mentioned that awarding this award to Vairamuthu is an insult to the reminiscence of ONV. “ONV sir is our pride. His contribution as a poet and lyricist is incomparable. How it has nurtured our culture. His work has benefited our hearts and minds. That is why it is disrespectful to give such an honor to the accused of sexual harassment offenses (sic) in his name, ”she mentioned in her tweet.
