Siddharth Anandwho directed shahrukh khan’s comeback film pathanoSaid that John Abraham was his first and solely alternative for the function of the villain within the movie. The director mentioned he wished somebody who was ruthless and “the exact opposite of Pathan”.
Siddharth mentioned, ‘For Pathan to be larger than life, we would have liked an enormous villain who can be larger than life. We wished somebody who was ruthless and well mannered, and commanded an electrical presence on display screen. So, Pathan was written holding the villain John Abraham in thoughts.”
He continued, “He (John) was our first and only choice, and we were certain that we wanted a villain that the audience would love forever. I am glad to see how people reacted to John, He takes on Shah Rukh Khan in a blood-soaked, adrenaline-pumping rivalry that will be epic in every sense. John is the complete opposite of Pathan on screen and we’ve made their rivalry on the delicious edge of the seat. It’s one hell of a thrilling contest. Will happen.”
Earlier, Siddharth Anand had opened up about Shah Rukh Khan’s transformation for Pathan and mentioned, “Shah Rukh Khan has pushed his physique to breaking level for Pathan. Hence, the love that he’s getting for Pathan’s teaser, he deserves all this and rather more. I bear in mind once I first met him on Pathan, we mentioned how bodily difficult it might be for him and he was enjoying from the start and it exhibits on display screen. ,
Pathan is all set to launch in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25, 2023.
