The Pakistan Cricket Board has rescheduled its T20I sequence towards the visiting West Indies from January 2023 to 2024 because of the busy home season.
The PCB stated it has spoken with Cricket West Indies and each have agreed to postpone the three-match T20I sequence, which was scheduled to happen in Pakistan in January 2023. This sequence will now be performed within the first quarter of 2024.
“The decision has been taken considering 2024 as the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup year, which is scheduled to be hosted in June 2024 in West Indies and USA, and hence the shortest format matches will help both the sides in preparation. tournament,” a spokesperson stated.
