The People’s Democratic Party on Thursday held a youth conference in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, indicating recent efforts to rejuvenate its political actions and outreach programmes.

Party leaders additionally expressed concern that the shortage of political outreach and “criminalizing protests has taken a toll on the mental and psychological well-being of the people in general and the youth in particular”.
Bukhari urged the youth of the Valley to develop into “active participants” in politico-social actions in order that they’ll declare their rightful place and get their grievances redressed.
