Even after finishing 11 years within the Tollywood trade, Ankush Hazra considers himself an outsider. Ankush, who debuted with ‘Kela Fateh’ in 2010, continues to be going robust with a gradual move of movies. He feels that movies come his approach as a result of he’s sincere to his artwork, and has nothing to cover. “I am not a product of nepotism. People know what I am capable of and approach me with their films,” he says.

He has particularly struck gold on the field workplace throughout Durga Puja. All his earlier Durga Puja releases like ‘Khiladi’, ‘Khalnayak’, ‘Bolo Dugga Mackie’ and ‘Zulfiqar’ have been large hits. This 12 months, it’s ‘FIR’ directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, which is able to hit the screens throughout Durga Puja. In the movie, Ankush performs the function of Abhijeet Dutta, a senior investigative officer of Kolkata Lalbazar. The collection of murders continues in Raghunathpur village. It is a spot dominated by native goons and MLAs. This is the story of how he makes his approach by corrupt officers and native goons to unravel the thriller. “This is my fifth Pooja film which is releasing. So, this time around, I’m crossing my fingers too. However, this is a time of pandemic. So, I wish the film also breaks. Let the audience once again enter the hall. I don’t have any box-office or sky-high expectations. People are thronging bars and pubs as there is no substitute for them. But as far as entertainment is concerned, people have so many options in their hands that going to the hall is not their only option. But we as actors and filmmakers want them to start coming to the hall once again. Earlier it used to be that we used to earn ten rupees, we used to think that why can’t we earn twelve rupees. Now the situation is such that if we earn three rupees, we are happy,” he says.

Ankush Hazra has a streak of comedy, which units him other than the same old industrial Tollywood hero. “People rarely appreciate a comedian. But this is the hardest thing to do. It is very challenging to overcome one’s inhibitions and play a comical role. So I find it interesting and challenging. If you can shine there, you can really prove yourself as an actor,” he says. How does he put together for a comic book function? “You have to be funny in real life. I’m generally a lot of fun. I have a brother and cousin with whom I enjoy all the time. I guess if you’re entertaining, she shows up on screen. Also I have good relations with people who are great comedians like Rajatav Dutta and Kharaj Mukherjee. Even Anirban Bhattacharya who does serious roles is a very funny person in real life. Did that was great.”

How does he see his allies Dev and Jeet? A prolific dancer, Ankush was thought-about as somebody who may ultimately take over the reins of economic cinema from Dev. “But I needed to show myself. There isn’t any competitors between us. When our movies usually are not releasing collectively then clearly there isn’t a competitors. And when they’re releasing collectively, I’ve just one concept. It saves to the extent that my producer will get his a refund. There isn’t any level in competing as a result of every part, most significantly finances, is completely different. However, so far as we heroes are involved, I firmly imagine that nobody can take the place of another person,” he says.

Recently, Ankush Hazra went to Maldives together with his girlfriend Oindrila Sen. When are they getting married? “Maybe next year. There’s so much work now that I don’t want to distract. Work can’t be secondary in this situation. After all, I have to earn and survive.”

Ankush was launched in 2010. In these 11 years, there have been many ups and downs in his skilled life. He entered the trade after finishing a five-month appearing course. “Now that I watch ‘Kela Fateh’ (his debut film), I wonder how I got my second film. It’s so bad!” He confesses. Then ‘Idiot’ occurred, however he does not take any credit score for it. He says that his co-star Sarbanti was accountable for the movie’s success. Then ‘Kanamachi’ and ‘Khiladi’ caught everybody’s consideration. “Khiladi did very effectively on the box-office after which individuals mentioned lastly right here was a boy who got here after Dev. ‘Khiladi’ gave me numerous increase. Though I’ve seen my ups and downs, however for me Everything was a studying course of. In the tip, I’m simply glad that Ankush is current someplace within the trade,” he says humbly.
