Play Indian music on plane and airports: Civil Aviation Ministry

Stating that music in India started as an “integral part of socio-religious life”, the civil aviation ministry has written to Indian airways and airport operators, citing a request from the Indian Council of Cultural Research (ICCR). The letter was handed over to Scindia final week by Rajya Sabha MP and ICCR chairman Vinay Sahasrabuddhe. Scindia had visited the ICCR headquarters on December 23, the place varied strategies have been made, together with selling Indian music in flights.
