Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh says that Rahul Dravid changing into the coach of Team India will give plenty of assurance to the gamers and there might be plenty of stability within the staff.
Speaking on the Star Sports present, Harbhajan Singh spoke constructive issues about Rahul Dravid because the coach of Team India.
“With Rahul coming, I can tell you that a lot of assurance will be given to the players. Players will be given good chances, there will be no unfair treatment and you will be dropped from the team,” Harbhajan Singh stated.
“He might be given truthful alternatives and that’s what Rahul Dravid will convey to the desk. He will convey plenty of stability to the staff.”
Harbhajan feels the mixture of head coach Rahul Dravid, ODI, Test captain Virat Kohli and T20 worldwide captain Rohit Sharma will take a while to regulate.
“Look, the combination will definitely take some time for everyone to adjust to the new things, the new processes that Rahul will bring to the table,” Harbhajan stated.
“I believe the triangle of those three is intertwined, Rahul with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
“I think they should work together and take Indian cricket to new heights,” he added.
Former India batsman Aakash Chopra praised Rahul Dravid as a coach.
“With Kohli, take a look at the truth that Rahul Dravid simply has respect, he does not demand it.
“You know if Rahul is there, what he has done is one, and there is a natural sense of respect for what he is as a person,” Chopra stated.
“If you talk about Test cricket, it is very interesting that this format is very close to Rahul Dravid’s heart and the same can be said for Virat Kohli with respect to Test matches,” he added.
India will face New Zealand within the first Test of the two-match sequence beginning on Thursday in Kanpur.
