The tussle between the panel of Prakash Raj and Vishnu Manchu continues even after the MAA elections. On Thursday, Prakash Raj wrote a letter to MAA Election 2021 Election Officer Krishnamohan, demanding CCTV footage of the election day. In his letter, he additionally talked about the controversial habits of actors Mohan Babu and Naresh on election day.
In the letter, Prakash Raj wrote, “Dear Krishnamohan Garu, you were witness to many unfortunate incidents that happened in the recently concluded MAA elections. Anger was high, and we witnessed the unruly, anti-social behavior of DRC member Mr. Mohan Babu and former chairman Mr. Naresh. He abused, threatened and physically assaulted the members of the MAA. I think you used your discretionary powers to allow him and his henchmen in the polling area. Some of the footage was leaked to the media and it was a field day. The MAA election and subsequent events made us laughing stock in the eyes of the public. There is resentment over the behavior of some well-known faces. Even the members of MAA wanted to know the truth of these reports. During your briefing – you talked about the use of CC cameras during voting. I am sure they have recorded everything. So I request you to give us the CCTV footage. It is our democratic right to have all relevant information regarding elections. As a polling officer, you have a duty to preserve all records for at least three months. Several Supreme Court decisions also obliged polling officials to preserve records. “

“So I request you to give us the CC footage at the earliest. Unless you act immediately, I am afraid the footage will be deleted or tampered with,” he stated.
Meanwhile, 11 members of the Prakash Raj panel, which gained the lately held MAA elections on Tuesday, resigned from their respective posts.
Vishnu Manchu assumed the put up of President of MAA in Hyderabad on Wednesday. On Thursday, Vishnu alongside together with his father Mohan Babu met actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and thanked him for his assist.
