The English top-flight league stated on Tuesday that the 2023-24 Premier League season will start on August 12 and there might be a mid-season participant break in January.

“The season schedule has returned to normal following the COVID-19 pandemic and the FIFA World Cup 2022, which provided disruptions during the last three seasons,” the league stated.
“In keeping with the commitments made to clubs this season to address the overcrowded schedule at Christmas and the New Year, no two rounds in this period will take place within 48 hours of each other.”
The 2023–24 marketing campaign will finish on May 19, 2024, whereas the mid-season participant break is scheduled for January 13–20.
