Birmingham-based GP Dr Anita Raja stated: “My biggest concern is the effect of so much inflation on people’s mental wellbeing. We are now seeing more patients due to stress-related issues, most of whom are down. For the cost of anxiety and the cost of living crisis. It is certainly taking a toll on the healthcare system and the NHS.”
