The movie Bhavai has been accepted and handed by the Censor Board of Film Certification beneath the ‘U’ class. Regarding the title change of the movie, Gandhi had mentioned in an interview with PTI, “We are not showing any interpretation of Ram or Ravana in the film. The movie isn’t about that at all. But I’m sure it’s not an answer to the broader question. We changed the name, but will that solve anything?”
The trailer of the movie was launched earlier this month and acquired a heat appreciation from the viewers. However, final week Penn Studios modified the title of the movie from Raavan Leela to Bhavai. In the Hardik Gajjar-directed Bhavai, Prateek Gandhi performs the position of Rajaram Joshi, a stage performer who performs Ravana in a standard efficiency of Ramayana in a Ram Leela presentation.
