Pune: 4-year-old kidnapped from Swargate bus depot rescued inside 10 hours

Pune metropolis police rescued a four-year-old woman inside 10 hours after she was allegedly kidnapped by a person from the Swargate bus depot space.

The woman’s father Raju Laxman Jadhav (36) had lodged a grievance of kidnapping at Swargate police station.

Police stated a kidnapping case has been registered and 20 search groups beneath the management of Deputy Commissioners of Police Sagar Patil and Srinivas Ghadge have been shaped.

The groups checked varied areas in Pune metropolis, Pune district and railway stations. Details concerning the kidnapped woman had been circulated on social media, stated a press launch issued on Friday.

While the police had been looking for the woman, Saswad resident Amol Shinde, who had seen the main points of the kidnapped woman on social media platform, noticed the woman with a person at Saswad bus depot round 3 pm.

He knowledgeable the police. The police workforce reached the spot in a rush, rescued the woman and nabbed the accused. Thereafter the kid was handed over to her mother and father.

Police stated that the accused is being questioned and additional investigation is on to know the motive behind the crime.
