Pune: PMC to begin free vaccination for 30-44 age group at 15 authorities facilities from right now

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has determined to begin free COVID vaccination for individuals within the age group of 30-44 at 15 authorities facilities in every of its 15 ward workplace areas from Saturday. 100 beneficiaries within the age group of 30-44 can be administered the primary dose of the Kovishield vaccine on the PMC centres.

People between 30 and 44 years of age must register on the Coin portal as 60 per cent of the dosage can be administered by appointment solely by way of on-line reserving. Vaccination will begin from 8 am on Saturday. The remaining 40 per cent of the dose can be given by way of on-the-spot reserving at every immunization centre.

The PMC was vaccinating individuals above 45 at authorities facilities as per the directions of the state authorities. It will proceed to take action at 148 facilities on Saturday with 40 per cent dosing by way of on-line reserving, 40 per cent by way of on-the-spot reserving and 20 per cent for healthcare and frontline employees.
