Pune metropolis police have arrested Amit Lunkad of Lunkad Realty Firm for allegedly dishonest an investor of Rs 21.26 lakh by not giving assured returns.
In this case, Sanjay Honrao (48), resident of Ambegaon Budruk, has lodged an FIR at Yerwada police station.
According to the FIR, the accused Lunkad allegedly lured the complainant Honrao to speculate cash by assuring him a month-to-month return of 15 per cent, police mentioned.
Honrao then allegedly invested a complete of Rs 21, 36, 875 in Lunkad Realty constructing building agency since 2019 however didn’t get assured returns. He reportedly didn’t even take again the cash he had invested.
Based on Honrao’s grievance, the police arrested Lunkad below sections 420, 406 of the Indian Penal Code.
Crime Branch Police Sub-Inspector Vijay Janjad is probing the case.
