Police have arrested a state transport bus driver for allegedly sending a dummy candidate for the evening blind trial carried out by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC).

Police have recognized the accused as Ratan Sampathi Lagad (42), a resident of Dhaur in Beed district. Senior safety officer of MSRTC Somnath Tikotkar (48) has filed an FIR in Khadki police station on this case.

According to the police, the accused was posted as driver and conductor at MSRTC depot in Mumbai division. Police stated that he was required to submit a certificates for evening blindness check for the submit of driver.
