Pune: Two individuals killed after ‘cellphone debate’

Two males had been allegedly killed by a gaggle of males after a heated argument over cellphone at Patas in Daund taluka of Pune district on Sunday evening.

Police have recognized the deceased as Shivam Shitkal (23) and Ganesh Ramesh Makhar (23), each residents of Ambika Nagar in Patas.

A case of homicide has been registered towards Mahesh Bhagwat and his associates at Yavat police station.

Police mentioned that there was an alleged combat between the deceased and the accused over the cellphone. After this Shivam and Ramesh went to Tamkhanda space of ​​Patas to interrogate Bhagwat at round 10 pm on Sunday.

However, Bhagwat allegedly attacked each of them with sharp weapons, killing them.

Police Inspector Bhausaheb Patil is investigating the case. The police has began a search to arrest the accused.
