Punjab Chief Minister Provided Rs 1 Crore Assistance to Bar Council for Families of Advocates Victims of Kovid

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday supplied monetary help of Rs 1 crore for the 42 family members of advocates of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, who succumbed to the Kovid-19.

This quantity was deposited within the checking account of the Bar Council.

An occasion for a similar was organized at Law Bhawan, Sector 37, Chandigarh, which was attended by Advocate General Punjab Atul Nanda and Cabinet Minister Vijay Inder Singla. Bar Council President Maninderjit Yadav mentioned that Rs 3.28 crore has been disbursed by the council to Kovid monetary help to the affected members of the authorized fraternity in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.
