Raheem Sterling reportedly prepared to hitch England squad forward of England vs France

Raheem Sterling is reportedly hoping to fly again to Qatar on Thursday and rejoin England’s World Cup camp forward of the all-important quarter-final towards France on Saturday.

According to a report in The Sun, Sterling, who left the staff’s World Cup camp in Qatar and returned to the UK following a break-in at his dwelling, is finalizing his safety preparations and can fly out as soon as safety is ready up His Surrey dwelling.

The 27-year-old Chelsea participant missed England’s 3-0 win over Senegal within the Round of 16 on Sunday and it was not identified whether or not he can be again for Saturday’s quarter-final match towards France.

But England supervisor Gareth Southgate spoke to ITV on the matter and mentioned, “I spent a lot of time with him this morning, but now I have to give it to other people to help him with this.”

“He’ll go and deal with that. And then we’ll have to take it from there, really.”

“Our thoughts are with him and his family. It’s a personal matter but it’s never easy seeing one of your teammates and friends deal with it like this. We have to take it day by day. I am sure Rahim will talk to the manager and take the best decision for him and his family. This is the most important thing. We send him our best wishes and hope to see him soon,” mentioned England captain Harry Kane.

Even if Sterling does return, he’ll most certainly be a substitute towards France.
