The BCCI on Tuesday introduced the appointment of Hrishikesh Kanitkar because the batting coach of the ladies’s cricket group. The group’s former head coach Ramesh Powar will be a part of VVS Laxman on the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Kanitkar will be a part of the group for the five-match T20I sequence in opposition to Australia beginning December 9 in Mumbai.
Kanitkar stated, “It is an honor to be appointed as the brand new batting coach of the senior girls’s group. I see great potential on this group and we have now a great mixture of youth and expertise. I imagine this group is prepared for the problem forward. We have some massive competitions arising and it’ll be thrilling for the group and for me because the batting coach.”
The group’s former head coach Ramesh Powar will be a part of VVS Laxman as head of cricket on the National Cricket Academy and swap to males’s cricket as a part of the BCCI’s restructuring module.
Powar stated, “My tenure as the top coach of the senior girls’s group has been an enriching expertise. Over the years, I’ve labored carefully with among the legends of the game and the budding abilities of the nation. In my new position at NCA, I sit up for constructing on my years of expertise to assist put together the expertise for the long run. I sit up for working carefully with VVS Laxman on creating the sport and bench power.”
VVS Laxman additional added, “With Ramesh Powar coming on-board (as spin bowling coach), we are sure he will bring his expertise and experience to the National Cricket Academy. Domestic, age-group cricket and the international circuit Having worked at the NCA, I am sure he will play an active role in the betterment of the game.
