Kumar Kushagra’s elegant unbeaten 112 coupled with Virat Singh’s 107 steered Jharkhand to an imposing 402 for five on the primary day of their Ranji Trophy pre-quarterfinal match in opposition to Nagaland on Saturday.

Singh and Kushagra toyed with the Nagaland assault and performed pictures at will. They upped the ante and whereas Singh hammered 13 boundaries in his 155-ball innings, Kushagra was the extra aggressive one as he struck 16 boundaries and one six in his unbeaten knock to this point.
The Singh and Kushagra duo added a staggering 175 runs in simply 213 balls for the fifth wicket, which took the sport away from the opposition crew.
They made the Nagaland bowlers toil arduous and ensured that their crew was in a commanding place.
When Singh fell, Jharkhand had crossed the 350-run mark. When stumps have been drawn, Kushagra had all-rounder Anukul Roy (21 not out) for firm because the duo had added 41 runs for the unbroken sixth wicket.
