Ratan Rajput was in melancholy after father’s dying, give up appearing and took to farming: ‘It was a horrible setback for me’

Television actor Ratan Rajput, who rose to fame with exhibits like Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo and Ratan Ka Rishta, has been lacking from the small display screen for nearly 4 years. He was final seen in &TV’s mythological drama Happy mom. Recently, the actor revealed that she was affected by melancholy and therefore determined to take a break from work.

Ratan instructed ETimes how she was on the lowest level of her life after the dying of her father in 2018. This was the time when his TV present Santoshi Maa additionally ended. She mentioned, “Just a day after Santoshi Maa left in 2018, I lost my father and it was a terrible blow for me. I went into depression and didn’t want to do anything.”

To get better, the actor determined to review psychology along with consulting psychologists for his situation. Traveling and farming additionally proved therapeutic for him.

Ratan Rajput shared that he left Mumbai and spent three months in a village. “Doing farming in the villages for three months was therapeutic and helped me recover to some extent. I also learned that people in villages lead a pretentious life. I enjoyed my time there and the journey helped me find my inner self as well,” she mentioned, how she discovered a brand new outlook in direction of life after spending time in rural areas.

Now after 4 years away from TV, Ratan is planning to return to work.
