Ravi Kumar leaves for Russia camp forward of World Championships

After profitable the gold medal on the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, India’s star wrestler Ravi Dahiya is gearing up for a 29-day coaching camp in Russia forward of the World Championships in Serbia in a month’s time.

According to a press release by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the 24-year-old Tokyo Olympic silver medalist is headed to Vladikavkaz on Wednesday night time alongside along with her coach Arun Kumar, fellow teammate Sahil and physiotherapist Munish Kumar.

“All the cost of travel, visa, board and stay will be covered under TOPS,” the SAI stated.

The 2019 World Championship bronze medalist had educated in Bulgaria forward of the Commonwealth Games other than competing in Turkey and Mongolia.
The World Championships are to be held in Belgrade from 10-18 September.
