The trailer for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is right here, and the makers declare that the scare goes to be “contagious” this time round. Inspired by the hit survival horror video games, it brings the massively common franchise again to its core. And to begin, the reboot introduces followers to its major location — Raccoon City, which is on edge attributable to a zombie apocalypse.

The trailer hints that Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City intently mixes the plots of the primary two video games. “Every story has a beginning. Discover the origins of evil,” spoken by Claire Redfield (Kaya Scodelario) as the primary strains of the trailer level to her sole function to show the pharmaceutical large Umbrella Corporation.

The movie’s synopsis reads, “Returning to the origins of the massively popular Resident Evil franchise, fan and filmmaker Johannes Roberts brings the game to life for a whole new generation of fans. In Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City Raccoon City, once the thriving home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, is now a dying Midwestern city. The company’s exodus left the city as a wasteland … with great evil beneath the surface. When evil is uncovered, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind the umbrella and build it up overnight.”

Also starring Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hooper, Avan Jogia, Donal Logue and Neil McDonough. Written and directed by Johannes Roberts, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will hit theaters on November 24.
