In a tribute the household stated: “We are devastated by the loss of our daughter and sister Natalie Dean and she will be missed by all of us.
“We need to thank everybody for his or her assist throughout this horrific time. It means a lot to the entire household.”
Officers are appealing for witnesses who may have dashcam footage of a man and a woman driving in Llanidlos or the A470 on Saturday or Sunday.
The woman is described as white, 5 ft 4 in (164 cm) of short stature with very long dreadlocks, which were past her waist.
He was wearing a gray top, dark trousers and white trainers.
The man is described as white, about 6 feet (182 cm), with a stocky build, dreadlocks and a dark bandana.
She was wearing a short sleeve, high vis-style jacket, T-shirt, shorts and light colored trainers, and was carrying a black bag with a strap.
A small darkish coloured canine was with him.
