India’s Rohan Bopanna and Dutch Matvey Middlekop defeated Argentina’s Pedro Kachin and Diego Schwartzman in straight units to enter the quarter-finals of the Erst Bank Open.
The Indo-Dutch pair defeated Kachin and Schwartzman 6-1, 6-3 on Wednesday. Bopanna and Middelcup will subsequent face Andres Molteni and Santiago Gonzalez. The Argentine-Mexican pair of Maltene and Gonzalez beat second seeds Wesley Koolhof and Neil Skupski 7-6 (6) 7-5 in one other match.
Bopanna and Middelkoop received their third title of the season in Tel Aviv earlier this month. The 42-year-old Indian had received two titles this season with compatriot Ramkumar Ramanathan in Adelaide and Pune.
