Electronics firm Samsung on Thursday mentioned it has awarded scholarships to 544 meritorious college students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, who’ve certified for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology and the National Institute of Technology.
“This year the program has awarded 150 scholarships to the fresh applicants of JNVs out of which 87 will start their journey in various IITs and 63 will start their journey in various NITs across India this year. In addition, scholarships have been renewed for the next year for 394 existing students. The fresh scholarship recipients include 139 second year students, 171 third year students, 82 fourth year students and two fifth year students,” the corporate mentioned in an announcement.
