Filmmaker Karan Johar on Tuesday introduced his upcoming dwelling manufacturing movie Meenakshi Sundareshwar Streaming will begin on Netflix from November 5.
Set in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, the romantic-comedy starring Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dasani narrates the trials and tribulations of a younger couple – Meenakshi and Sundareswarar.
Johar introduced the discharge date of the movie on Instagram.
“Get ready to witness this unique and super cute long-distance love story with us this festive season! #MeenakshiSundareshwar is coming to Netflix on November 5th,” wrote the producer together with the movie’s poster.
The movie would be the directorial debut of Vivek Soni, who had earlier made the 2012 brief “Bawdi”. Soni has co-written the movie with Arsh Vora.
It may also be the digital debut of Dasani, who entered Bollywood with Vasan Bala’s 2019 critically acclaimed comedy-drama Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. Malhotra’s two movies have been launched on OTT Ludo and Paglight.
