SC dismisses Abdullah Azam Khan’s plea difficult Allahabad HC order, which evicted him as Pig MLA

The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a petition filed by Abdullah Azam Khan, son of Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Azam Khan, difficult the Allahabad High Court order barring his election from Uttar Pradesh’s Suar meeting constituency. It was rejected saying that he was under 25 years of age. was not eligible to fill a seat within the state legislature.

The bench quashed the Pig MLA after inspecting the information established by varied paperwork together with the service document of Abdullah Khan’s mom.

On January 3, 2019, Rampur BJP chief Akash Saxena lodged an FIR at Ganj police station alleging fraud in acquiring two start certificates with completely different dates. The police had filed a cost sheet on this case in April.

Azam Khan and his spouse had been jailed by Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur courtroom for his or her alleged function in acquiring faux start certificates for Abdullah Azam, on the premise of which he contested the election.
