The Election Commission on Monday introduced that bypolls to seven vacant meeting seats in six states can be held on November 3.
Bypolls shall be held on two seats — Mokama and Gopalganj — of Bihar , Andheri (East) of Maharashtra, Adampur of Haryana, Munugode of Telangana, Gola Gorakhnath of Uttar Pradesh, and Dhamnagar of Odisha.
The Election Commission stated that the notification for the by-polls can be issued on October 7.
The Election Commission stated in an announcement that the counting of votes would happen on November 6.
