After the incident, the Pune administration gave a press release of apology. “This incident has been noted by the Sports Minister and instructions have been issued to ensure that such incident does not happen again. Further it will be ensured that vehicles are not allowed on the athletic track,” Pune District Information Officer mentioned in a press release.
The division additionally mentioned that the Sports Minister has taken be aware of the incident and directions have been issued to make sure that automobiles are usually not allowed on the athletic monitor.

Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju termed the incident as ‘disrespect’ of sports activities amenities and ethics within the nation.
