A person killed two individuals at a Houston motel, then set hearth to a parking zone injuring two others earlier than dying in a shootout with police, officers mentioned.
Acting Police Chief Matt Slinkard mentioned the capturing occurred late Sunday on the Palace Inn Motel in northwest Houston.
Slinkard mentioned a person, who was about 35 years outdated, killed two individuals, then opened hearth on officers from the motel’s balcony. Two individuals within the parking zone had been injured, however no officers had been injured.

Slinkard mentioned officers opened hearth and the gunman was pronounced useless on the scene, although police have but to find out whether or not he died or injured himself from officers’ gunfire.
The police didn’t instantly know why the person killed two individuals. Slinkard mentioned there was no proof that the shooter knew the 2 victims or that it was a home violence scenario.
He mentioned, ‘It is a horrifying and unhappy scene.
