“Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner has joined the solid of “The Staircase,” a real crime restricted collection from streamer HBO Max. The Emmy-nominated actor will seem within the eight-part drama alongside Colin Firth, Toni Collette, Juliette Binoche, Rosemary DeWitt and Parker Posey.
The collection revolves across the suspicious deaths of crime novelist Michael Peterson (Firth), his sprawling North Carolina household, and his spouse, Kathleen (Colette).
As Deadline experiences, Turner will play Margaret Ratliff, certainly one of Peterson’s adopted daughters, who’s satisfied of her innocence. Margaret and her sister Marth have been adopted by Peterson when their mom, Elizabeth, a buddy of the household, died in Germany, even after being discovered below a ladder.
Antonio Campos of “The Devil All the Time” fame will direct six episodes of the collection. He may also function author and showrunner with Maggie Cohn, greatest recognized for her work on “American Crime Story”.
