South Korean navy says North Korea fired 4 missiles at sea

South Korea’s navy says North Korea has fired 4 short-range ballistic missiles into the ocean, sparking a flurry of weapons demonstrations this week that escalated tensions within the area.

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff mentioned on Saturday that the missiles hit a distance of about 130 kilometers towards the north’s west sea. North Korea this week fired dozens of missiles into the ocean, together with an intercontinental ballistic missile, which warned of an evacuation in northern Japan and flew warplanes inside its territory.

North Korea has described its navy actions as a becoming response to a joint US-South Korea air train, which it known as a show of America’s “military confrontation frenzy”.

In the ultimate days of joint workouts, the United States on Saturday fired two B-1B supersonic bombers over South Korea, in a present of drive to intimidate North Korea over its intense testing exercise.
