Southwest monsoon to renew in North India from August 19 IMD

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday mentioned that after a spot of just about two weeks, the Southwest Monsoon will once more grow to be energetic over North India from August 19.

The IMD mentioned that scattered to widespread rainfall exercise with remoted heavy rain is probably going over East Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand from August 19 to 21.

Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and West UP might even see rain actions until August 20-21.

There is a risk of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand on August 19 and 20.

There can also be a risk of widespread to widespread rain exercise with remoted heavy falls over Bihar from August 20-22.

The IMD mentioned that the present rains would proceed over Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Northeast India and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim until August 19.
