Rise, riot and roar – as filmmaker SS Rajamouli has introduced that the sequel to his world blockbuster RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan is at the moment in growth.
The filmmaker, who’s at the moment placing his energies behind RRR’s Oscar marketing campaign, revealed that his screenwriter father Vijayendra Prasad is writing the sequel.
During a screening in Chicago, when requested if there could be RRR 2, Rajamouli stated, “I would absolutely love to. I can’t reveal much about it, but my father, who writes the screenplays for all my films including RRR He has been a writer. We discussed it a bit, and he is working on the script.” Applause. However, after RRR, Rajamouli is alleged to direct actor Mahesh Babu for a mega globe-trotting motion journey.

Earlier this 12 months, throughout a particular occasion to have fun the movie’s success, Jr NTR had stated that the followers’ demand for a RRR sequel is justified and requested Rajamouli to take the story ahead.
“I’m pretty sure if he doesn’t make (a sequel), you’re definitely going to kill him. He has to make ‘RRR 2’, that has to be a conclusion too! I was talking to a journalist , and I don’t know how, but I said ‘RRR’ franchise. So, hopefully it turns out to be true. They should make RRR 2,” the actor had stated.
RRR is a fictionalized story of two Indian freedom fighters of the early twentieth century – Alluri Seetharam (Charan) and Komaram Bheem, performed by Jr. NTR. The movie grew to become Rajamouli’s third consecutive pan-India blockbuster after the two-part Baahubali franchise.
