Student of the 12 months, which marked the entry of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in Hindi cinema, was launched in theaters on 19 October 2012. Today, because the movie completes 10 years of its launch, the movie’s director Karan Johar shared an emotional observe on social media. He talked about how he by no means meant to make a cinematic masterpiece with Student of the Year and that it was a ‘vacation movie’ for him.

Hindi Everything I love about cinema is being part of Student of the Year.” The filmmaker shared that whereas making the movie, all the crew was ‘no’ like a cheerful household, as is usually stated by these concerned within the filmmaking course of.

Karan Johar stated that he talks to his three prodigies on daily basis and, like a guardian, feels protecting of them. He wrote, “I never knew until then that I would have kids of my own… but my first protective parental feeling was for all three of them… I love you sid! I love you Varun and I love you pyar karoon karna alia (yeah yes i know i don’t have to keep saying this but what is love)…i say this to my kids and i want to say it to all 3 of you…..till you go to the moon and come back I’ll love…”
Earlier, Karan himself had roasted this movie in his chat present Koffee with Karan. He had shared how he had doubts in regards to the script of the movie in the course of the shoot. “What we lastly shot was very completely different from what was really scripted. We modified it. I do not know what I used to be doing. I believe I used to be drunk or one thing. I began taking pictures for the movie. Di and I assumed why is the script so unhealthy? Of course, it turned out to be an entertaining watch, but it surely had its personal journey,” the filmmaker had stated.
