BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari met Prime Minister Narendra Modi right here on Wednesday and mentioned a number of political points associated to the state with him.

The official met Modi at his residence a day after he met prime BJP leaders, together with BJP President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

This was Adhikari’s first assembly with prime BJP leaders after changing into the Leader of Opposition within the West Bengal Assembly.

Adhikari had defeated Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in a detailed election in Nandigram meeting constituency.

The Prime Minister additionally tweeted concerning the assembly, tagging an image of the assembly and stated, “Met by Shri Suvendu Adhikari, Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly.”

After assembly the Prime Minister, the official tweeted, “Blessed to have met Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji. I thank him for the precious time he gave to me. There was a detailed discussion on Bengal and many other political issues for about 45 minutes. Seek his support and guidance for the development of West Bengal.”

The official additionally tweeted about his assembly with Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and stated that it was a pleasure to satisfy him they usually “discussed the rampant corruption prevailing in the implementation of MGNREGA in Bengal”.

“He (Tomar) has assured me that my grievances will be taken care of,” the West Bengal chief stated.
