Captain Jos Buttler on Wednesday stated that it’s uncertain for England pacer Mark Wood and batsman David Malan to play within the T20 World Cup semi-final towards India.
“We have confidence in those two players as well and we will give them as much time as possible (to prove their fitness),” Butler advised reporters on the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday.
Wood withdrew from coaching with the group on Tuesday, saying he had a “body stiffness” whereas Malan suffered a groin pressure of their Super 12 win over Sri Lanka.

Butler stated that the choice to incorporate these two earlier than the match on the Adelaide Oval is for the medical workers.
