Ahead of the much-awaited encounter towards arch-rivals Pakistan, KL Rahul stated in a press convention on Friday that it’s a massive problem for the gamers to tackle Pakistan and they’re all the time trying ahead to this match.
“We are all very excited as players. We are always looking forward to this India vs Pakistan conflict. We don’t play each other anywhere else but in these big tournaments. It will be a good challenge for us to compete against a big team like Pakistan. As we all know that India and Pakistan have a huge history and rivalry as these sports are always high intensity. This is a great opportunity for us to challenge ourselves,” stated Rahul.
India final performed towards Pakistan within the 2021 T20 World Cup and misplaced by 10 wickets. Talking about that loss, Rahul stated, “Yes obviously it hurts to lose any match and in the World Cup. It was the first match of the World Cup and we were all very excited. Every major team enters tournaments looking to win and unfortunately that didn’t happen for us. We were defeated by a very strong Pakistan team. We get a chance to play against him again and it’s a competition we’ve been looking forward to. The match starts from zero… There may be a history of how many times teams have played against each other and won, but it doesn’t matter as the game starts from zero only.”

Talking about Virat Kohli’s kind, the Indian vice-captain stated, “We don’t really give much importance to the comments. It doesn’t really affect a player, especially a world class player like Virat won’t be affected by what people from outside are saying. He has got a break and is working on his game.”
“I was watching him on TV when he was injured. It didn’t look like he was looking out of form. I am sure he is hungry to win matches for the country. That is what he has done in his entire career,” stated Rahul.
