Tamil drama Koozhangal (Pebble)Directed by filmmaker Vinothraj PS, has been chosen as India’s official entry for the 94th Academy Awards. The movie follows an alcoholic abusive husband who, after his long-suffering spouse runs away, units out with their younger son to seek out her and convey her again.
Koozhangal has many newcomers and is produced by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara. Sivan shared the information of the movie’s choice on Twitter.

Koozhangal received the highest honor of the Tiger Award for Best Film on the fiftieth International Film Festival of Rotterdam (IFFR) earlier this 12 months.
