Tania Bhatia claims she was robbed in London; ECB pulled up for lack of safety

India wicketkeeper-batsman Tania Bhatia on Monday claimed on social media that she was robbed whereas staying on the Marriott Hotel London Maida Wala.

“Shocked and disenchanted within the Marriott Hotel London Maida Vale administration; throughout my current keep as part of the Indian girls’s cricket group somebody entered my personal room and stole my bag together with money, playing cards, watches and jewelry. So insecure,” Bhatia wrote on Twitter.

Hope this matter can be investigated and resolved quickly. Such a scarcity of safety at @ECB_cricket’s favourite resort associate is stunning. Hopefully they will even take word.”

The ECB has but to subject a press release.

India performed 3 T20Is and as many ODIs in England from 10 to 24 September. Bhatia was a part of India’s restricted overs group in England.

India defeated England within the remaining ODI at Lord’s on Saturday to win the ODI sequence 3-0.
