Telugu lyricist Sirivenela Sitaram Sastri handed away in Secunderabad on Tuesday. He breathed his final at KIMS Hospital, the place he was present process therapy therapy of pneumonia,

The information of Shastri’s demise has despatched a shock wave within the Telugu movie business. Actor Prakash Raj tweeted, “The whole world is yours or is your life alone. Unbearable loss thank you for the poetic concepts that add meaning to our lives.. you were the best guru #SirivennelaSitaramasastry garu #RIP.”

Fans of Sirivenela Sitaram Shastri are mourning the demise of the 66-year-old artist. “May his soul rest in peace sir. Your songs will live on in our hearts,” wrote one fan, whereas one other wrote, “Thank you great songwriter for making our childhood memorable, you will always be with us.”

Sirivanella Sitaram Shastri made his debut as a lyricist in 1984 with Janani Janmabhoomi. He rose to fame with the track “Vidhatha Thalpuna” within the Okay. Vishwanath-directed Sirivenela (1986). Shastri, who has over 3000 songs, has written songs for movies like Swayamkrishi, Swarn Kamalam, Shrutilayalu, Gayam, Swathi Kiranam, Kshana Kshanam, Sindhuram, Nuve Kavali, Okkadu, Varsham and Gamayam.

Sirivenela Sitaram Shastri was awarded the Padma Shri in 2019 for her contribution and excellence within the area of arts.

His latest works embrace movies like RRR, Most Eligible Bachelor and Narappa.
