A promotional occasion was deliberate at HiLITE Mall in Kozhikode for Tovino Thomas’s upcoming movie Thallumaala, which was attended by the celebrities of the movie. However, the makers canceled the occasion as an enormous crowd swamped the venue. Pictures and movies from the mall have gone viral on social media.

Tovino Thomas later posted a video on his approach again from the occasion questioning if it was an excellent or dangerous factor. In the video, the actor stated, “We saw a large crowd at the entrance of the mall. However, we never anticipated such a crowd in the mall. I don’t know if this is good or bad news. We could not conduct the promotional event in the mall. We could not start the event because of the crowd. Even on the stage, there were a lot of people. I have never seen such a crowd in my life.”
He added, “I puzzled if I will get out of the mall alive (laughs). I perceive it’s love and I’m completely satisfied about it. Thank you for such a reception. It can be nice if such a crowd gathers at one other place. Do you understand the place? In cinema halls! The movie is releasing tomorrow.”
Thallumaala, to be launched on August 12, is directed by Khalid Rahman. Other than Tovino, the movie has Kalyani Priyadarshan and Shine Tom Chacko within the lead roles. The trailer of the film revealed that it’s about web celebrities. Written by Muhsin Parari and Ashraf Hamza, Thallumaala is produced by Ashiq Usman.
