In an announcement, the military stated that the individuals of Machil alongside the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara sector paid tribute to General Rawat and took out a candle march on Thursday. General Rawat had visited Machil sector on July 27 this 12 months with Brigadier LS Lidar, who was killed within the accident.
