The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Tuesday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of an accused within the alleged sexual assault of a West Bengal girl at Tikri border in Haryana’s Bahadurgarh.
The High Court web site mentioned that the bail plea was rejected by a bench of Justice Jasgurpreet Singh Puri. However, an in depth order on this regard was but to be issued by the High Court.
Petitioner Ankur had moved the High Court looking for anticipatory bail within the matter, contending that he was being unnecessarily harassed and humiliated by the police, regardless of the stage within the grievance by the sufferer or her father. His title was not taken.
The girl was allegedly sexually assaulted when she had gone to the Tikri border in Bahadurgarh to participate within the ongoing farmers’ motion.
