Actor-producer Fahadh Faasil took to social media to unveil the primary poster of director Judd Anthony Joseph’s 2018, which relies on the 2018 Kerala floods. The movie stars Tovino Thomas, Kunchko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineet Srinivasan, Aparna Balamurali, Kalaiyarasan, Naren, Lal, Indran and Aju Varghese.
Sharing the primary poster of 2018, Fahadh wrote, “The story of brave Keralites who fought together in the 2018 floods that engulfed the state. Unveiling the title of the film. Revealing the story of the real heroes. Everyone’s a hero.”
Director Judd Anthony Joseph took to Instagram and expressed his pleasure about 2018 by way of a prolonged notice. He wrote, “4 years ago, 2018 16th October, I announced a film. A big film about how Malayalees faced the floods together despite differences of caste, religion and party. To those who hear the story Unbelievable. Some crew members said it was impossible to shoot for the film. It was my co-writer Akhil P Dharmajan who put his trust in me. Days passed. Kovid hit and everyone forgot the film. But I couldn’t sleep I refused to give up on this dream project.”
